The Lohhof second division volleyball players will celebrate their home premiere in the BOS / FOS hall on this Sunday at 4 p.m.

TV Waldgirmes are guests - and up to 100 viewers.

Lohhof

- "We are very happy that we can play at all," says SVL trainer Claudia Mürle, who this time will be on the sidelines instead of Elena Kiesling and is looking forward to her debut as Bundesliga coach.

In Dingolfing, for example, the game against Grimma has been postponed due to the corona.

After the two opening wins against Grimma and Dresden last weekend, the SVL team led by captain Sandra Baier is heading the table and thus also the favorite in the game against Waldgirmes, who lost their season opener 3-0 against VC Neuwied.

But Mürle does not want to give too much to the opening results, especially since she expects the newly formed Dresden youth team to be much stronger in the second half of the season.

Mürle doesn't even know how to assess Waldgirmes: “Our scout Fabian Zeitler has prepared a few tactical information,” she explains, “but in principle we don't know much, including whether they have even been able to train in the last few weeks. "

Therefore, as with her colleague Elena Kiesling on the trip to the east of Germany, the focus is on your own team.

They should continue to grow together as a team: "We are still working to ensure that everyone gets the same idea of the game, mistakes are ticked off together and everyone can help each other," Mürle explains.

If communication in the field works just as well as it did last weekend, the afternoon in the hall at home can be a very relaxed affair for Mürle too.

The squad will definitely be the same as last weekend.

It remains to be seen how great the support from the 100 fans in the stands, who have been approved for testing purposes, will be: "I'm curious what kind of atmosphere it will be when everyone is spread out at a distance and has to wear a mask," says Mürle.

"But it is really great that parents and friends and a few more fans can be there at all."

There are still a few remaining tickets - please reserve in advance by e-mail to manager martina.banse@svlohhof.de.

The game can also be seen live on www.sportdeutschland.tv.
