Reims-PSG: Gueye in training, not Kehrer

2020-09-26T10:26:55.480Z

Twenty-two players started today's session this Saturday at Camp des Loges, on the eve of the trip to Reims.

Good news for Idrissa Gueye.

On his 31st birthday, this Saturday, the Senegalese international was part of the morning training.

Hit in the ankle last Sunday in Nice (3-0), the Parisian midfielder started the collective session without apparent embarrassment.

Celebrated by his teammates on this birthday, Gueye could therefore be ready for this Sunday's trip to Reims.

Thomas Tuchel will confirm or not his presence in the group at the beginning of the afternoon during the press conference before the match.

For Thilo Kehrer, on the other hand, the trip to Champagne will be impossible.

The German defender did not even set foot on the pitch at Camp des Loges this Saturday and will most likely be absent from the group for the third time in a row after Metz (1-0) and Nice (3-0).

Kehrer is affected in the adductors and continues the care in room.

The return of suspension of Neymar and Paredes

Twenty-two players started the session under the orders of Thomas Tuchel.

The first for Alexandre Letellier, 29, new goalkeeper number 3 of the club.

Like Gueye, this titi trained at PSG was housed by his new teammates during a small guard of honor.

Among the young players present, Bandiougou Fadiga, Kays Ruiz-Atil, Arnaud Kalimuendo or Timothée Pembélé.

The match in Reims will mark the return from suspension of Neymar and Leandro Paredes.

While this will be the last meeting of Angel Di Maria before a ban of four days in Ligue 1. The Argentinian was sanctioned this week after his spitting launched at Marseille defender Alvaro Gonzalez during the clasico.
