German Mick Schumacher won first place in the tenth round of the first category in the main race of the "FIA" Formula 2 championship for the 2020 season.
Sky Sports reported today that the 21-year-old Mick, son of Formula 1 racing legend Michael Schumacher, driver of Alfa Romeo team, scored first place in the tenth round at the Russian Sochi circuit, ahead of Japanese Karlin driver Yuki Tsunoda by 6.3 seconds, while Britain's Callum Ellott finished third. A difference of 9.4 seconds.
Schumacher, Jr. was crowned Formula 3 Series champion in 2018 and finished 12th in the final Formula 2 drivers' ranking last year.
