There is a limit to any prank.

After coming back twice in a row from a 3-1 deficit in the Western Conference semifinals and quarterfinals, Denver reached the Western Conference Finals tonight in the same position, but the Los Angeles Lakers made it very clear to them very quickly that a third time is not worth ice cream, at least not for the Nuggets. 

107: 117 was won by the Hollywood team, which does not intend to stop until it adds another championship trophy to the crowded closet of titles.

This was made clear by its two big stars, LeBron James and Anthony Davis who despite the injury in Game 4 was excellent and scored 27 points.

And yet, there are numbers that only LeBron is capable of doing in record positions, and he once again came off the floor with a triple-double in hand, approaching the all-time record in the playoffs, which belongs to former Lakers star Magic Johnson (30).

King James abused Denver with 38 points, picked up 15 rebounds and did not forget his teammates to whom he handed out 10 assists.

LeBron was there at every important moment, maintaining momentum all the way through and attacking every Denver weak spot that an early entanglement in the offenses of star Nikola Jokic had severely damaged.

Denver was led by three, but it did not appear throughout the 48 minutes that it was really capable of preventing the Lakers from winning.

Jukic and Jeremy Grant scored 20 points each, and the great, but injured Jamal Marie, settled for 19 points and eight assists.

Not at all sure Marie was one hundred percent healthy would have made the difference.

The Lakers are now awaiting a decision in the Eastern Conference Finals, in which the Miami Heat lead the Boston Celtics 2-3.
