Canadian Felix Oger Al-Yassim bid farewell to the French Open in the first round, by losing to Japanese Yoshihito Nishioka by 5-7, 3-6, 3-6 today.
Reuters reported that Nishioka missed the service early in the first set before assuming control and benefited from 58 easy errors from the 19 seed, as he meets in the next round with French participant Hugo Gaston with a calling card.
Italian Fabio Fonini, the 14th seed, also bid farewell to the tournament by losing 5-7, 6-3, 6-7, 6-0 to Kazakhstan's Mikhail Kokoshin.
