Miami finished the regular season only fourth in the East, but tonight (Sunday through Monday) it filled a dream bubble and returned to the NBA Finals for the first time since leaving LeBron James in 2014 - the same one it will face the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Heat defeated Boston 113: 125, completed a very convincing 2: 4 in the Eastern Conference Finals, and who knows, maybe this magical journey will still end in a fourth championship ring.
Game number 1 in the final will be held on the night between Wednesday and Thursday.
As with most of the previous games in the series, tonight we also got a slew of upheavals, a Boston collapse and countless heroes on the Miami side.
The Celtics who tried to force Game 7 turned 82:74 into a 90:96 lead, seven minutes to go, but from that moment until the end, there was only one team on the floor, scoring 35 of the last 52 points in the match.
Tyler Hiro proved once again how talented he is, if Adbaio did whatever he pleased, and both Andre Iguodala and Duncan Robinson contributed just in time.

Adbaio, who took responsibility for the loss in Game 5, continued his formidable playoffs with 32 points (11 of 15 from the field, 10 of 11 from the penalty spot), 14 rebounds and 5 assists, excluding Solomon Hill, every other Miami player who shared Tonight he scored 9 points or more: Butler had 22, Lehiro 19, Robinson and Iguodala (season playoff record) 15, Goran Dragic 13 and Jay Crowder 9. Add 56 percent from the field, 48 percent for 3, 84 percent from the line and 30 assists on just 12 turnovers, and you got the game story.
Boston, on the other hand, can be very frustrating.
While the Celtics actually surprised the qualifiers for the Eastern Conference Finals, a series of mistakes prevented them from visiting the NBA Finals.
Jaylen Brown led with 26 points, Jason Taitum who did not score a single point in the first quarter ended up with 24 (9 of 26 from the field) and 11 assists, Kamba Walker and Marcus Smart contributed 20 each, but it was not enough .
Not on an evening where the Greens are accurate by 15 of 46 (32 percent) off the arc.

"Miami is super physical, super tough, very, very smart," Brad Stevens complimented the opponent.
"I think this is the best team in the East and it deserves to represent the East for the way it played."
