Real Madrid, the Spanish champions, announced that the injury of their German player, Toni Kroos, will be absent from the team's matches for two weeks.
The club stated on its official website today, “After medical examinations for Tony Crosse to diagnose his injury, it was found that he suffers from a muscle injury in the left thigh area,” noting that he will be out of action for a period ranging between 10 and 15 days.
Toni Kroos, 30, suffered a severe muscle injury in his left leg during his team’s match last Saturday against Real Betis in the third round of the Spanish League.
