The Euroleague season is just around the corner, and preparations are underway across the continent.
As every year, this time too, the "100 best players in the factory" continue in the "Eurohops" ranking.
So far, two players from Maccabi Tel Aviv have been included in the ranking: Elijah Bryant was ranked 69th, while Tyler Dorsey ranked 68th.
Today (Tuesday) 40-31 places were announced, including one representative of the Yellows: the new acquisition in question, Ante Žižić.
"The expectation from Žižić is to continue from the same point where he left the Euroleague in 2017," the rankings read.
"Before moving to the NBA, Žižić had a small but impressive tenure in the Euroleague, including a series of impressive games against Real Madrid. After three years he returns to the Euroleague with Maccabi Tel Aviv, and has a huge place to improve. He has the potential to become To one of the best big men in the Euroleague. "
Žižić is ranked above other senior chins like Greg Monroe and above other stars like Sergio Yui.
Notable players in the Yellows' squad that have not yet been rated are Scotty Wilbkin, Othello Hunter, Omri Caspi and Dragan Bender.

The Spanish website "Solobasket" analyzed in depth the staff of Maccabi Tel Aviv ahead of the start of the season, and addressed in detail some of the prominent players of the Yellows.
Scotty Wilbkin was selected in the team's star category, stating that "there is no doubt that Wilbkin is the key man for the Yellows - as evidenced by both the contract he received and the freedom he gets on offense. "The best in Europe - Shane Larkin, Vasilya Mitchic, Pekondo Campasso and Mike James. He is one rank below, or half a rank."
Dragon Bender reads: "The bet on him is dangerous. Both because of the short contract that implies that his head is in the NBA, and also because he was and remains a mystery. He never met the high expectations, and there are doubts about his suitability and position at Maccabi Tel Aviv. Bender is The kind of players who, when watching videos with his moves, are left with an open mouth, but also one whose raw talent has never been practiced for a real contribution on the field. And yet, as with any bet, it can also succeed. Run fast and control the ball. "
