On the night between Saturday and Sunday, one of the biggest fights the MMA world has known in recent years was held - the UFC World Medium Weightlifting Championship between the reigning champion Israel Adsania and claiming the crown of Paulo Costa.
Long before the fight, the two made sure that the hype around him skyrocketed, after exchanging curses and almost blows in a number of different cases.
There was nothing to talk about touching the gloves before the battle began.
Adsania, who came as a clear favorite for the battle, easily defeated his opponent while displaying impressive ability.
He combined tremendous kicks to his opponent's feet with constant movement and impressive tactical discipline.
Eventually, a small slip during Costa’s jab, combined with a right and a left hook blow to the Brazilian’s head, sent him to the ground.
The incumbent general did not think twice and punched him.
The referee had no choice but to stop the fight, when Adsania did not listen to him and remained lying on Costa's back while he performed sexual doubt movements for long seconds.

As a result, Adsania, who raised his career career to a rather impressive 0:20, received much criticism, both from his fans, from other martial arts colleagues and from his rival, who disliked the New Zealander's behavior after watching the replay.
"I wanted to talk about what human garbage did after the battle," Costa said in a post he posted on Instagram.
"What he did is not acceptable and I want a rematch. I do not want to make excuses, but something happened before the fight. When we fight again I will be 100 percent and make him pay. Remember my things."
"Fuck, I'm not stopping to laugh," Adsania responded on Twitter, then also sent a sting to one of the greatest fighters in UFC history, John Jones, who could be his next opponent.
