Kiki Bertens has moved into the third round of the French Open.
So far, so normal for the fifth seeded Dutch woman against number 150 in the world, Sara Errani.
Beyond this news, there was little normal in the match that Bertens won 7: 6 (7: 5), 3: 6, 9: 7 after almost four hours.
There were 24 breaks in a total of 37 service games.
The first sentence went into the tiebreak, but the third round turned into a real drama.
After ten breaks in a row, Bertens fended off a match point with a score of 5: 6.
After converting her fifth match point to victory, Bertens collapsed trembling and lay sobbing on the floor for a while.
Her opponent had massive problems with her serve throughout the game, could hardly throw the ball up properly, had to start again and again and served several times from below.
In addition, Errani made fun of Bertens and her complaints, mocked her counterparts by limping mimicking them.
After the game, 33-year-old Errani, who had qualified for a Grand Slam tournament for the first time after a two-year doping ban, could not bring herself to the obligatory congratulations.
Instead, she stormed off, cursing.
Berten's prospects for another success are bad, as the 2016 semi-finalist had to have her elbow treated in addition to her thigh.
The completely exhausted 28-year-old was also taken off the pitch in a wheelchair.

All semi-finalists of the US Open in Paris are already out
The four semi-finalists of the US Open, however, no longer play a role at the French Open.
After New York champion Naomi Osaka did not participate in Paris and the American Jennifer Brady was eliminated in the first round, Serena Williams and Viktoria Asarenka got hit on Wednesday.
Williams gave up because of problems with the Achilles tendon shortly before her second round game against Bulgarian Zwetana Pironkowa.
Asarenka, who lost to Osaka in the final in New York, had to admit defeat to the Slovak Anna Karolina Schmiedlova 2: 6, 2: 6.
There were just two weeks between the two Grand Slam tournaments in New York and Paris.
In addition, there is the change of surface from hardcourt to sand.
The French Open had been postponed from May to autumn due to the Corona crisis.
