FC Bayern Munich has won the national Supercup after the European one.
In front of empty stands in the domestic Allianz Arena, the champions and cup winners defeated Borussia Dortmund 3: 2 (2: 1).
Corentin Tolisso (18th minute), Thomas Müller (32nd) and Joshua Kimmich (82nd) scored the goals for Bayern, Julian Brandt (39th) and Erling Haaland (55th) were successful for BVB.
Compared to the Bundesliga weekend, when both clubs suffered surprising defeats, the coaches changed their starting line-ups noticeably: Hans-Dieter Flick moved to five positions, Lucien Favre brought six new players - including captain Marco Reus, who suffered an injury in February for the first time back in the Dortmund starting XI.
Accordingly, the teams did not seem well rehearsed at the beginning.
Bayern scored the opening goal on the counterattack after a Dortmund corner: Müller proved his overview in the center and put Robert Lewandowski on the right wing, who played flat inwards on the Tolisso who had also run.
In the first attempt, BVB keeper Marwin Hitz was able to steer the ball to the lower edge of the bar, Tolisso pushed the rebound from a few centimeters over the goal line (18th).

After a playing mistake by Manuel Neuers, BVB had the chance to equalize.
A poorly timed pass from Mahmoud Dahoud prevented Reus from getting into a better position, whose shot remained harmless (24th).
Bayern were more efficient, after a half-field cross from Alphonso Davies, Müller won the header duel against Felix Passlack at the far post and scored to 2-0 (32nd).
Dortmund comes up with opportunities - and compensation
Brandt met before the break: After Benjamin Pavard lost the ball, Reus and Erling Haaland played the ball into the penalty area to the national player, who overcame Neuer with a forceful shot from a good ten meters.
Immediately after the break, only Meunier gave away the chance to equalize (47th), after an interface pass from Thomas Delaney Haaland made it better, escaped his guards and scored to 2-2 (55th).
Just four minutes later, Haaland had the chance to turn the game around completely - a strong reflex by Neuers, who steered the ball past the goal with his right hand, prevented a Dortmund 3-2.
Instead, BVB afforded the one dropout too much, which Kimmich punished late: After a stick mistake by Delaney, Bayern's six conquered the ball and appeared in the penalty area after playing with Lewandowski.
Hitz was able to save the first conclusion - when he fell, Kimmich happily caught the rebound with his left leg and steered the ball over the BVB keeper into the goal (82nd).
