The draw, but not only

Note that in addition to the draw, UEFA will reveal the winners of the various individual prizes for the 2019-2020 season.

Some Parisians are concerned, such as Keylor Navas, Neymar and Kylian Mbappé.

Even if Manuel Neuer and Robert Lewandowski are favorites ...

The ceremony begins

The ceremony has just started ladies and gentlemen!

We will have to wait a few more minutes to see the first balls drawn, we are currently looking back on the 2019-20 campaign, which ended in Lisbon with the coronation of Bayern Munich.

A season obviously disrupted by the coronavirus, with a cut of several months ...

What changes for the 2020-21 season?

Not much, except that the 2020-21 fiscal year will start unusually late.

Due to the Coid-19 pandemic, the previous campaign ended on August 23, with this final won by Bayern, against PSG (1-0).

It should be noted that the five changes will always be authorized, as in Lisbon.

For the rest, the C1 will always take place with eight groups of four in the first round, then a classic knockout phase, with round-trip oppositions in the eighth, quarter and semi-finals.

Two clubs from the same country cannot cross paths before the quarter-finals.

The first two of each pool will go to the round of 16, while the third will go to the Europa League.

For the fourth, it will be over.

Istanbul, theater of the final

Coronavirus obliges, Istanbul lost the organization of the 2020 final to the benefit of Lisbon.

Never mind, it is at the AtatĂĽrk Olympic Stadium that the 2021 final will take place. In fact, the schedule has been shifted by one year.

Host city scheduled for 2021, Saint Petersburg will host the C1 final in 2022.

Worse and best draw for OM and Stade Rennais

The worst draw for OM and Rennes?

Bayern or Liverpool, Manchester City or Barça and Inter.

The best ?

Zenit or Porto, Shakhtar or Ajax and Krasnodar.

Even the best draw wouldn't be synonymous with qualifying, but there would be room.

The worst and the best draw for PSG

If they will certainly avoid the clubs of the first hat, and therefore in particular Bayern and Liverpool, the Parisian vice-champions of Europe could be stuck with a group made up of Barcelona or Manchester City, Inter Milan and M'Gladbach.

No cake ... But for Thomas Tuchel's players, so rarely tested in the league, a hen raised might not be so bad.

Conversely, PSG could inherit Shakhtar or Ajax in hat 2, Krasnodar and Midtjylland or Ferencvaros.

Easier…
