The Milan team snatched the pass to qualify for the group stage of the European Football League from rival Rio Ave, Portugal, through a penalty shootout 9-8 in their match today in the Portuguese city of Vila de Conde.
Midfielder Alexis Salemaikers put Milan ahead in the 51st minute, then Francisco Giraldis equalized in the 72nd minute, ending normal time with a 1-1 draw.
Giraldis scored a second goal in the first minute of the first extra half time, but Hacken Calhangulo saved Milan from defeat in the last minute of the second extra half with a goal he scored from a penalty kick.
