Defending champions FC Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and Borussia Mönchengladbach will get their group opponents for the Champions League this Thursday (from 5 p.m.).
In pot one, the champions of the seven best European leagues and the Europa League winners are placed.
Pots two to four are divided according to the UEFA coefficient.
Gladbach is one of the weakest clubs in the past few years in the rating of the European Football Union.
Eight groups of four are drawn, each with one team from the four pots.
German duels in the group stage are excluded.
The game will be played on 20./21.
and 27./28.

Due to the corona pandemic, games may also be postponed.
UEFA reserves the right to extend the group stage until January 28th.
If the group stage cannot be completed for "whatever reasons", the UEFA Executive Committee will also decide on the composition of the knockout round, the umbrella association announced.
The final in Istanbul is scheduled for May 29, 2021.
