The newcomer didn't have much time to hire his people.

And yet you noticed the Schalke three days after Manuel Baum was signed that he had given them self-confidence.

Not running, but also playing yourself, according to your own potential, seemed to have been the plan on his coaching debut against RB Leipzig.

But the strategy only worked for a short time.
