Five days before the game against Maccabi Tel Aviv in the second round of the Euroleague, CSKA Moscow announced tonight (Saturday) that three of its players - Yannis Strelniks, Nikola Milutinov and Semyon Antonov - were found positive for the Corona virus. Antonov sat on the bench for the entire 40 minutes.
The Russian team is expected to undergo further tests during the coming week, when if a situation arises in which it will not be able to put together a squad of eight healthy players, the game against Maccabi Tel Aviv will be postponed. Healthy who are registered in the Euroleague.
Maccabi Tel Aviv will leave for Moscow next Tuesday, when it will also undergo a corona examination of all the staff and team members who are going to compete.

CSKA's announcement of the sick players came after Barcelona announced in the afternoon that the team's coach Sharonas Jasikevicius and his assistant were found positive in a recent Corona check. The two are not expected to manage the team's upcoming games.
