The transfer window ends at midnight on Monday, and the Red Star is about to hit the transfer market very hard.
Cheikh Ndoye, the solid (1.92 m, 90 kg) Senegalese international midfielder (32 caps), is in very advanced discussions with the Saint-Ouen club, which has just recorded its first two successes (Concarneau and Laval) in National (10th).

In dispute with the industrial tribunal against Angers
Captain for two seasons (2015-2016 and 2016-2017) of the Angers SCO, just promoted to Ligue 1, Ndoye then joined England and Birmingham City (Championship, 2nd Division).
Despite his 37 appearances, for 28 starts, the club separates from the Senegalese to obtain more financial freedom in the face of restrictions imposed by the English League.
His return to Angers is punctuated by a retention in Ligue 1 to which he contributes greatly.
But the great Angevin adventure ends badly after his serious injury (rupture of the ligaments of a knee) in selection against Mali on March 26, 2019. Since June of the same year, the player has been in open conflict with his former president, Saïd Chabane, who would not have kept a promise of employment.
The case has since been before the industrial tribunal.
A cloakroom leader
Revealed in Créteil in 2012-2013, with 11 goals and a climb to Ligue 2, Cheikh Ndoye (34) had been tested at Guingamp (L 2) last August then trained for several weeks with Créteil (5th in the National) where he kept his ties.
The midfielder was also in talks with Ligue 2 clubs.
At the Red Star, Ndoye, who has reportedly asked to wear the No.17, would be a natural leader in a considerably rejuvenated dressing room this summer with the arrival of many players from the lower levels.
Beyond the imminent recruitment of this experienced medium, the Red Star is still seeking to expand its offensive sector.
But the signing of the Senegalese international could close the file of the Malian international Cheick Fantamady Diarra (28 years) free since his departure from Châteauroux (L 2).
