The last team to come back from a 2-0 deficit in the NBA Finals was LeBron James' Cleveland with the historic championship in 2016.
Now, Miami will try to do so at the expense of LeBron and the Lakers, who cruised to easy wins in the first two games.
The Heat did not lose twice in a row all this playoff to the final, but lost two critical top five players already in the first game and without them it is much harder.
Jimmy Butler (25) and Kelly Olinik (24) tried to cover up for the absence of the injured Bam Adbaio and Goran Dragic who are once again forced to watch the game from the sidelines.
Another LeBron victory over Davis will bring them very close to a championship title and will put them in a position from which no team in the final has returned.
Will Miami keep the series alive?
