In the shadow of Betar Jerusalem's struggle to return to training and football, the team continues to prepare for the season.

After the landing of Mateosinho last Thursday, it was the turn of defender Santiago Ocampus to land in Israel this afternoon (Sunday) and join the team.

The 18-year-old Ocampus arrived alone and will enter solitary confinement in an apartment prepared for him by the clubhouse.

As you may recall, the young right-back signed for three years with the team.

He played last season for Juventus' reserve team and even trained with the senior team for the past two months.

The defender is also the captain of Paraguay's young team and was selected in the World Cup for the 11th of the tournament.

Upon landing in Israel and after the long journey that began in Paraguay and ended in Jerusalem with a stop in London, the actor said: "The road was long and I took 3 flights, but I feel great and arrived without problems. From what I was told - nice to live here, the food here is good "I was treated as best I could. I started playing football at the age of 8 in football school with Deportivo Luciano, then I joined the Paraguayan squad and there I was discovered by the people of Juventus. I became a Juventus player and finally came here to Betar.
