The Syria Wrestling Team continues its training camp in Lattakia, in preparation for the upcoming entitlements, as part of a plan recently drawn up by the Game Federation to develop the players ’technical and physical level.
The President of the Wrestling Federation, Muhammad Nur Al-Ali, stated in a statement to the SANA Sports reporter that the camp began at the beginning of this month for free and Roman wrestling and will continue until the fifteenth of it, under the supervision of the Belarusian coach Alexander Berfsky and the national coaches Nawzat Saleh, Firas Al-Rifai and Basem Shtiwi, and it is running as planned.
Al-Ali added that the daily and intense training in the camp, in two morning and evening periods, focuses on running and endurance exercises on the beach, in addition to physical strength training exercises, indicating that the camp comes after a period that suspended the players for several months from training due to the Corona pandemic, indicating at the same time that the establishment of a camp The national team in other governorates contributes to developing the skills of the provincial team players by making use of the coaches' expertise, as it is an opportunity to interact with the more experienced players.
The national team includes players Abdul Karim Al-Hassan, Omar Sarim, Fida Al-Osta, Ahmed Deraki, Ammar Abu Alika, Abdullah Waheed, Asad Al-Osta, Majd Aisha, Fawzi Al-Hassan, Muhammad Fawaz, Ahmed Al-Nakdali, Abdullah Odeh and Mutassim Hashish.
