It took a while, but now ERC Lechbruck is back in the regional league.
At the beginning, the "rafters" are guests at SC Forst.
Lechbruck - It's a special season for the ice hockey players at ERC Lechbruck - and that has nothing to do with Corona and the strict hygiene requirements that result from it.
Because the "Rafters" start again after ten years in the national league.
In group 2, the newcomer wants to play a good role.
It starts for the Ostallgäuer with an away game against the "Nature Boyz" of SC Forst.
The teams will meet in the Peißenberg ice rink on Friday (8 p.m.).
200 spectators are allowed in the stadium, the rules for this can be found on the "Nature Boyz" homepage.
During the preparation both teams faced each other - the Lechbruckers lost just 1: 2 in extra time.
The conditions for the newcomer are not the very best.
“Our hospital is jam-packed.
But we will take it as it comes and will decide who can play at short notice, ”said ERC coach Jörg Peters.
The newcomer sees himself in the role of an outsider anyway - but hopes for a surprise.
"We're going there and will find a way to keep the game open as long as possible and - God willing - to take the points with us," says Peters.
He certainly has to do without contingent player Jason Lavallee.
The Canadian had received a game penalty in the friendly against Forst, which he had to serve in the first league game.
