After the racism allegations against a long-time youth coach of the club, FC Bayern Munich has declared the internal processing of the case to be completed.

The employee is said to have repeatedly discriminated against players because of their skin color, nationality, religious affiliation or alleged homosexuality.

First the WDR magazine "Sport Inside" reported on the allegations.

As the club announced on Friday, there should be "structural changes" in the youth performance center in response to the incident.

Dr.

Michael Gerlinger, Director Legal & Human Resources at FC Bayern, confirmed that "some serious violations of labor law obligations" had been found.

Gerlinger had led the investigation.

As the club announced, there will be a "new start in terms of personnel" for the U9 to U15 teams.

The employee concerned, who has been active in the club since 2003, most recently worked as a sports director.

The club had already terminated the employment relationship with the employee in August, and a legal dispute ensued.

Specifically, FC Bayern Munich also promises to develop regular training courses and advanced training programs.

In addition, there should be other internal changes.

According to information from SPIEGEL, greater attention will be paid in future to separating coaching jobs and personnel management tasks.

In addition, the psychological work on campus is to be made more visible in order to strengthen the internal contact point for similar incidents.
