The Football Association announced that Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford will not face any disciplinary measures retroactively after interfering strongly on Virgil Van Dyck, Liverpool defender, during the match that brought them together in the English Premier League.

"The video referee technology reviewed the shot more than once and decided that Liverpool would not get a penalty kick and that the game was offside," the federation said in a statement on its official website. "Also, Everton's Beckford does not deserve a red card."

Liverpool and Everton met in the fifth round of the English Premier League in the match that ended in a 2-2 positive draw. Van Dyck was knocked out in the 10th minute, after a strong intervention from Pickford during one of the first half attacks that resulted in Van Dyck severing the cruciate ligament.
