Jordan Pickford came out cheap from the gross offense that almost ended for Virgil Van Dyke halting Liverpool’s career and not even getting a yellow card.
Today (Monday) the English association announced that the Everton goalkeeper will not even stand trial following the wild tackle during the derby match between the two on Saturday (2: 2).

In England the referee's decision was criticized, and former player Alan Shearer joined in the killings when he said "it's a shame and disgrace that Pickford came out of it without a red card. It was a horrible offense. The referee didn't even notice it, and then the question is how the VAR can recommend restraint "For such an offense? It's a clear red."
Pickford did not even get a yellow card after this move was disqualified because the Dutch national team brake was in disarray.
But in England they expected the goalkeeper to stand trial and be punished for the offense, which did not happen in the end.
Liverpool have already had time to file a formal complaint to the Premier League over the performance of the referee and VAR referees last night, appealing not only the controversial decision over Van Dyke's offense but also the goal disqualified for her overtime on the grounds of borderline dissent.
One of the people who criticized Pickford too harshly was Mark Bosnich, the Australian goalkeeper who previously stood between the beams of Manchester United, Aston Villa and Chelsea.
Bosnich told Sky Sports that "no matter if Pickford meant this tackle or not, he should be out as long as Virgil Van Dyke is out and back only after the brake is applied."
