Apoel Nicosia are trying to figure out how to get out of the bad season opener.
The Cypriot team recorded a 1-0 home loss against Paphos yesterday, which played ten players for almost half of the entire season.
The local media seem to have brought the name of coach Marinos Ozonidis to the forefront and claimed that his days in office are few in light of the fact that the club is ranked only ninth with only two victories.
And if that's not enough, the team has a hard time understanding why the pair of Legionnaires, Ben Shehar and Omer Atzili (who started in the lineup), are unable to find the net and at the same time also discover good ability on the grass.
"No doubt, we are all very disappointed here," was quoted as Ben Shehar, who to date has scored only a single goal this season. "We work on things in training, but have a hard time implementing them in games. In this way, Apollo Nicosia should not be seen."
