If Hapoel Beer Sheva thought that the Corona blow was behind them, then it turns out that they were greatly mistaken.
The trophy holder announced tonight (Tuesday) that in tests that took place this morning ahead of the game against Slavia Prague on Thursday as part of the first round of the Europa League home stage, three positive players were found for the corona virus.
"These are Joshua Peshkira, Louis Taha and Raz Rahamim. The test results of the following three players are borderline: Mariano Briero, David Keltins and Eli Madmon. In addition, the tests of Yossi Aboksis and Aliniv Barda also returned positive," the team said.
As you may recall, all of these players and staff members were found to be positive for the virus as early as a few days ago and are not new patients.
Tomorrow, the club will receive clarifications from the UEFA regarding the participation of the players and team members in the game against Slavia Prague, in accordance with their definition by the relevant bodies in Israel.
