Maccabi Haifa is convinced: El Abid and Glazer could be the surprise of the season
The striker and goalkeeper, who were not in the plans for this season, impressed at the training camp in Serbia.

Maccabi Haifa will return to training in Israel after the training camp they held in Serbia due to the training ban imposed in Israel.
The team is very pleased with the camp and the club leaders received compliments for insisting on going to the training camp despite the knowledge that they will receive a permit to train in Israel.

The surprise of the camp.

All the players received compliments, but the club is convinced that thanks to the camp, the team may have "earned" two players - Ihab al-Abid and Omri Glazer.
The striker was scheduled to go on loan, but the team was very impressed with his ability and he will remain on the roster and is expected to be an integral part of the rotation.
As for Gezler, in Haifa they did not build on the goalkeeper at all and were convinced that he would find another team.
As you may recall, after not finding a team, Glazer asked to get back to business and was invited to the training camp.
The team was impressed with Glazer's ability, who is expected to serve as one of the first two goalkeepers now.
The injured Josh Cohen is still in doubt for the game against Maccabi Tel Aviv (on November 2) and there is an attempt to train him, but if the goalkeeper is not qualified, Glazer will be the one to receive the credit.
