Thomas Tuchel judged his captain too fair to start the meeting on Tuesday evening. Abdou Diallo will start, just like the rookie

It's a big blow for PSG.

Marquinhos, who had trained normally on Monday, was ultimately deemed too fair to start the clash against Manchester United (kick off 9 p.m.).

The Brazilian captain will start the match on the bench.

Abdou Diallo, encouraging in Nîmes, will take his place, to the right of Presnel Kimpembe.

On the left side, the experience of Layvin Kurzawa was preferred to the youth of Mitchel Bakker.

A decision may also be linked to the choice concerning Marquinhos.

After two training sessions and a muscular awakening with the group, Danilo Pereira is meanwhile launched into the deep end, on the occasion of PSG-Manchester United.

The 29-year-old Portuguese midfielder is tenured by Thomas Tuchel for the first day of the group stage of the Champions League.

He will occupy the post of midfield sentry.

A key position where expectations are high since the retirement of Thiago Motta two years ago.

Martial holder, Pogba on the bench

Danilo will be joined in the midfield by Idrissa Gueye and Ander Herrera.

Rafinha, very promising against Nîmes, had played his first match since July 16 on this occasion, which left doubts about his ability to continue.

In front, not surprisingly, Di Maria, Neymar and Mbappé are holders.

The first was suspended in the Gard and the second left to rest.

Their organization will remain to be observed during the meeting.

The position of Neymar, on the left or in the axis, will draw a team in 4-3-3 or in 4-4-2 diamond.

On the Manchester side, Paul Pogba is confined to the sidelines, while the other Frenchman in the workforce, Anthony Martial, holds the lead in the attack.

The starting lineup:

Navas - Florenzi, Diallo, Kimpembe (cap.), Kurzawa - Herrera, Danilo Pereira, Gueye - Di Maria, Mbappé, Neymar.
