Lenglet and three other executives extend at Barça
In the wake of his resounding success against Ferencvaros in the Champions League (5-1), FC Barcelona announced the extension of four contracts, and not the least.
Iconic central defender Gerard Pique (33) has renewed his two-year lease, finding himself tied to Barça until 2024. His teammate in the hinge, Frenchman Clément Lenglet (25), has extended for three seasons, until 2026, and now benefits from a release clause of € 300 million.
Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong (23) has also extended until 2026, with a clause set at € 400m.
Finally, German goalkeeper Marc-André Ter Stegen (28) has signed up until 2025. His release clause is the highest of the lot, reaching € 500 million.
