59 days after winning the premier class, FC Bayern won the first group game of the new season.

Against the team from Atlético Madrid, who are actually considered to be strong defensive, the Munich team won 4-0 (2-0) in their own stadium.

Kingsley Coman (28th minute, 72nd), Leon Goretzka (41st) and Corentin Tolisso (66th) were the goal scorers.

Luis Suárez, who moved from FC Barcelona to Madrid in the summer, missed a cross in the third minute, after which Munich dominated - initially without success.

Niklas Süle hit the post (15th minute), Corentin Tolisso's cross was blocked (18th) and Lucas Hernández's long-range shot went well over it (25th).

It was then the scorer of the only goal in the last Champions League final, Coman, who also scored at the premier class opener.

After strong preparatory work by Joshua Kimmich, who prevented Bayern from losing the ball with a tackle and gently brought the ball to Coman, the Frenchman had no problems (28th).

Alleged Atlético goal does not count

Shortly before the break, Bayern, where Serge Gnabry was missing after a positive corona test, scored a second goal.

After a quick attack by Munich, Coman put the ball across to Leon Goretzka, who had plenty of time and increased it to 2-0 (41st).

After the break, the Atlético players cheered too early on a goal from João Félix.

The goal was not given - Suarez was offside and Neuer blocked the view (47th).

Tolisso then provided the third Munich goal with a remarkable long-range shot (66th).

However, here Robert Lewandowksi was offside and, similar to Suárez, Atlético keeper Jan Oblak blocked the view.

However, the referees clearly saw no obstruction in this.

After a strong individual performance, in which he danced the Madrid defensive row, Coman put his second goal that evening (72nd) - the decision.
