A horrific moment occurred in the wrestling arena in Mexico this week, when a local wrestler collapsed on stage due to brain damage, and one of his opponents did not realize it was a real distress and continued the fight - including a scissor kick in the air.
It was when Luis Angel Salsar, who fought as Principe Arrow, was part of a battle in the arena on the outskirts of Mexico City.
After sustaining two blows to his chest, he collapsed to the floor.
His opponent, Redimido, was already ready to run towards him and give him another blow with a kick - but then he immediately realized that something was wrong, and stopped himself.

Redimido, along with the referee, managed to grasp that this time it was not a show, and bent over towards the painful wrestler who had just collapsed on the ground, in order to check his condition.
However, a third wrestler, who mistakenly thought it was a continuation of the show, continued the fight as usual, storming into the arena with a kick in the air while jumping straight into Redimido's back - before he too realized that a tragedy was actually happening on the mat.
In Mexico, it was reported that Salsar, who was both his mother and his partner in the stands and watching what was happening, received cardiac arrest at the scene.
It was then alleged that he actually died in the hospital, and it was a cerebral aneurysm.
The event's producer responded after the disaster: "Unfortunately a young man lost his life. We risk our lives in the arena in every battle."
Salsar, it turns out, was a student who used the money from wrestling to fund his studies.
