Formula 1: The Haas team separates from both drivers.
For Mick Schumacher and Nico Hülkenberg, this could be a huge chance for a cockpit.
The driver carousel in
Formula 1 *
keeps turning.
Two more cockpits have now become free -
Haas *
separates from
Romain Grosjean
and
Kevin Magnussen
.
For
Mick Schumacher *
and
Nico
Hülkenberg
has an opportunity.
Portimao - Is the way for
Mick Schumacher
into
Formula 1
now free?
In the run-up to the race weekend in
Portimao
,
Portugal
, there was an awesome message: The
Haas
F1 team is
separating from both drivers.
The American racing team announced on Thursday that
Kevin Magnussen
and
Romain Grosjean
will no longer be behind the wheel for the coming season.
Formula 1: Mick Schumacher looking for a team - Haas instead of Alfa Romeo?
Mick Schumacher recommended himself with strong performances in
Formula 2
for a cockpit in the premier class.
In internal circles it is assumed that the son of F1 legend
Michael Schumacher *
will find a team soon.
So far it looked like
Alfa Romeo * was
ahead of the game.
According to
information from
Sport1
, however, the team is planning
to start the new season
with its current drivers
Kimi Räikkönen
and
Antonio Giovinazzi
.

Formula 1: Haas separates from Grosjean and Magnussen - and flirts with Schumacher
Like Alfa Romeo, Haas is a
Ferrari *
customer team
.
Schumacher is
under contract
with the "
Ferrari Driver Academy
".
So it stands to reason that he should also be with a team with a Ferrari engine.
At Haas there are now two vacancies - the team around boss
Günther Steiner has made
a radical cut.
Steiner does not seem averse to a Schumacher commitment *.
“The Schumacher name is one of the biggest in Formula 1.
Who wouldn't want a Schumacher, especially in this form? ”He asks.
The decision, however, lies with Ferrari, who they would send on, says Steiner.
Formula 1: Nico Hülkenberg and Mick Schumacher have competition
Haas is not only a great opportunity for Schumacher.
With
Nico Hülkenberg
, a second German driver is looking for a cockpit.
However, there are currently rumors of a "Hulk" switch to
Red Bull
.
Haas is probably only Plan B for Emmerich - or even Plan C. In an interview, he was once asked about a Haas change - and reacted with little enthusiasm.
But with whom are Schumacher and Hülkenberg arguing about the still free cockpits?

The hottest contenders besides the two Germans are
Sergio Perez
and
Nikita Mazepin
.
The Mexican Perez loses his seat at
Racing Point
at the end of the season
*
to
Sebastian Vettel *
, but has been proving his qualities for years.
Mazepin drives in Formula 2 and is the son of a rich Russian businessman.
His engagement would be the most lucrative for Haas.
