Will Danny Abdia be selected in the second draft pick by Golden State?
In the United States, it is reported tonight (Thursday) that Steve Kerr and several other Warriors took off for Atlanta in the last day to examine the young Israeli, and were "thrilled" after a meeting with him.
According to Athletic, "it was a positive encounter, in which the 19-year-old Israeli impressed the people who watched him. Abdia did not function well only in training, the general feeling was that he was a great boy with an exceptional work ethic."
Less than a month remains on the 2020 draft, and for Golden State all options are open.
The United States has estimated that the Warriors may trade and get a player who can contribute to them immediately, but it is not inconceivable that they will be left with the second choice.
