Robert Lewandowski was in a hurry.

At 7:51 p.m. on Sunday three weeks ago, the FC Bayern Munich striker scored his fourth goal against Hertha BSC that evening, the winning goal to make it 4-3.

Just an hour later, Lewandowski took off in a private jet from Munich Airport, the destination was Poland's capital.

The morning after his arrival, the athlete defended his master's thesis in physical education at a Warsaw university.

His bachelor thesis three years ago had the not very modest title: "RL9 - the path to success".

Lewandowski described his own career in it, "RL" are his initials, "9" stands for his jersey number.

At that time, his professors appeared for the final exam in the Polish national colors of white and red.

Lewandowski explained in his bachelor thesis that large sums of money caused conflicts in football.

"Behind the scenes and behind closed office doors there is bitter fighting," wrote the student with foresight.

"Robert Lewandowski," said Robert Lewandowski, "has a trustworthy partner" - Cezary Kucharski.

The advisor, who discovered Lewandowski at the age of 19, represented him, negotiated salary increases and transfers for him.

"Both trust each other," said Lewandowski in his work.
