In the middle of the storm and about to face this Saturday a duel as delicate as this classic (16.00, Movistar LaLiga), Zidane once again closed ranks and defended the dressing room.

“I have won many things with these players, I will always be to death with them.

They are the ones who run, fight and fight ”, he affirmed at the press conference prior to the game against Barcelona.

“A little ugly things are said from the outside and I am the coach to say that nothing is wrong and move this forward.

After a bad game, you have to get together.

Not only in football, but also in life.

I want to be with them, ”he added.

The white coach did not let loose in his speech or a nuance in his support for the squad.

“My players always want and are motivated to do things well, but they don't always come out.

Attitude is not going to be the problem [at Camp Nou] ”, he warned.

For the clash on Saturday he recovers Sergio Ramos, absent on Wednesday against Shakhtar after a blow to his left knee that left him in the locker room at half-time against Cádiz.

"It is 100% recovered, we are not going to risk it," he said.

Zizou insisted on the importance of starting the match well, unlike the previous two.

"We started bad.

When we were one goal down, it was difficult for us to lift our heads and get things done.

It cost us against teams far behind ”, he analyzed.

“We are not going about victims or anything.

This is a match to reclaim our strength.

We have to start well and play strong.

Tomorrow is important for our image ”, he pointed out.

Zidane was calm, more, for example, than before the selection break, when the transfer market was still open.

“I have always been very critical of myself, it is the engine to improve.

After a defeat, most of the criticism I get, and that's normal.

I don't live from the past ”, he commented.

"Anyway, this team has always had ups and downs, not just with me," he warned.

And when asked if he feels his future is at stake, Zidane recalled that Madrid also went through a difficult time a year ago.

"It is what is said, nothing has changed, it is like last year," he said.

It then held out in a key clash in Istanbul and then triumphed in exceptional post-lockdown conditions.

Now the plot goes through the Camp Nou and, three days later, in a very committed appointment in the Champions League in Moenchengladbach.
