The capital club revealed that one of its players had tested positive for Covid-19 following tests carried out on Friday.

A Paris SG player tested positive for Covid-19 and forfeited the Ligue 1 match on Saturday against Dijon (9 p.m.), the Parisian club announced a few hours before the match, while revealing a group without much absence surprise.

The player, tested Friday and whose identity has not been specified, will "respect isolation and is subject to the appropriate health protocol," said the club.

His participation in the Champions League match on Wednesday in Istanbul against Basaksehir is therefore in doubt.

For the 8th day of Ligue 1 on Saturday night, PSG still called a group without much surprise, with the expected absences of Mauro Icardi, Marco Verratti, Leandro Paredes, Thilo Kehrer and Idrissa Gueye, injured.

Uncertain, goalkeeper Keylor Navas and defender Alessandro Florenzi are however present alongside the two stars Neymar and Kylian Mbappé, also affected by the Covid-19 in recent weeks.

The attacker Jesé, announced uncertain, and the third goalkeeper Alexandre Letellier are missing on the other hand.

This one is replaced by Mathyas Randriamamy.

Just like Layvin Kurzawa and Angel Di Maria, suspended.
