The Frenchman discovered a track he did not know since Portugal had not been on the World Championship program since 1997. The other disciplines in which he has driven have never brought him to the Portimão circuit.
“I didn't know the track at all.
I bought a video game at home last week for 17 euros »
At the microphone of
Canal +
, the former Renault driver, therefore admitted to having discovered this route "with a video game bought at 17 euros" in recent days.
“I didn't know the track at all.
I bought a home video game last week for 17 euros.
I'm lucky to have the esports team sim-racers telling me which game is best with the best track.
They told me to download this one and like that I practiced a bit.
But I hadn't done a simulator and had never driven here.
The first laps were fun, ”the 34-year-old driver explained with humor.
