The Spanish club Barcelona announced the injury of its Brazilian star Philippe Coutinho after his participation in the Catalan team's match against Real Madrid in the Spanish Football League “La Liga” yesterday.
Media quoted the club as saying in an official statement today that medical examinations conducted by Coutinho confirmed that he had suffered a biceps injury in the left thigh, indicating that his return to the stadiums depends on the speed of his recovery.
Coutinho will miss the Italian Juventus match next Wednesday in the second round of the Champions League group stage.
