Britain's Teo Geogejan Hart, Ineos' rider, won the Tour de Italia after defeating Australian Jay Hindley in the final stage of a singles race against the clock.
Reuters reported that the Ineos contestant started the stage, 0.86 seconds behind Hindley, but beat him at the end by 39 seconds.
The race was supposed to be held from the 9th to the 31st of May, but was postponed due to the Corona pandemic.
