Britain's Lewis Hamilton, a Mercedes driver, today won the Portuguese Grand Prix, the twelfth stage of the Formula 1 World Championship, breaking German legend Michael Schumacher's number of wins.
Hamilton, who achieved his 92nd Formula 1 victory, outperformed his team-mate Valtteri Bottas, who came in second, 25 seconds behind him.
Red Bull driver Max Verstappen came in third place, followed by Charles Leclerc Ferrari in fourth place, French Pierre Gasly “Alpha Tauri” finished fifth, and Spain's Carlos Sainz “McLaren” in sixth place after leading the race in four laps.
