Thankfully, the initial diagnosis did not reveal any serious injuries.

Everything else can only be found in further investigations, ”explained Sonndorfer.

Ultimately, the team from the Passau district * was able to embark on the long, almost four-hour journey home in the afternoon - with everyone on board.

While Schalding-Heining had to return home without having achieved anything, the ball was still rolling at the “Schnüdel” - but only for exercise.

“After the game was canceled, my team had three options: free, fun training or serious unit.

They decided on the latter, which speaks for the character of the boys, ”said Strobl.
