Last night (Monday), Maccabi Tel Aviv successfully passed its first baptism of fire in the local framework for the 2020/21 season, when it defeated Hapoel Haifa 74:83 in the quarterfinals of the Winner's Cup.
On Sunday, Yannis Sapropoulos' team will meet Maccabi Rishon Lezion, its runner-up from last season in the league, in the semifinals at Drive-In.

Ante Žižić who scored 15 points and added 8 rebounds, Scotty Wilbkin who scored 3 points in a weak game and Othello Hunter who scored 16 points, played 22, 21 and 19 minutes respectively.
"I am very happy that basketball in the country is back, it was missing for all of us. I am happy for the victory today, we came with a lot of energy, we have injured in the Israeli cadre of the team, and Dori and Idan did a very good job," Blazer concluded.
