The player underwent a ligamentoplasty of the anterior cruciate ligament, performed at the Clinique du Sport de Paris by doctor Yoann Bohu, a week before the date initially planned.

With this long unavailability, the international tricolor (313 selections), at PSG since 2015, will miss, in fact, the championship and Champions League matches (including the 2019-2020 Final Four scheduled for the end of December) with his club.
