The Italian club Juventus announced that the star of the team Cristiano Ronaldo will be absent from the squad that hosts Barcelona in the European Champions League, two weeks after he was infected with Covid 19.
The Portuguese player was hoping to return to the stadiums before the match today, and despite that there was no official comment on his health, but he did not join the squad announced by Andrea Pirlo, Juventus coach, for the match.
Ronaldo posted a picture of himself on his Instagram account and wrote on it, "I feel so well and in good health."
It was his first match with his personal rival, Lionel Messi, since Ronaldo left Real Madrid in 2018.
