Türkgüvü Munich is under criticism after the legal dispute with the BFV.
Managing director Max Kothny in particular is dissatisfied with the current situation and the BFV's breach of trust.
Max Kothny
,
Managing Director of Türkgücü Munich
is currently in the headlines frequently.
The reason for this is a legal dispute over the question of whether
Türkgücü Munich
or
1. FC Schweinfurt 05
will compete
in the
DFB Cup
.
M
ax Kothny
last spoke of
"Mickey Mouse Court"
, whereupon the
Bavarian Football Association (BFV)
countered.
Munich
-
Türkgücü Munich
is currently making the headlines.
The decision of the
Nuremberg court of arbitration
has made the club angry.
Managing Director Max Kothny
(23) speaks to our newspaper about the verdict, the relationship with the
BFV
and the goal of facing the
lions
in the future
.
Mr. Kothny, how deep is the frustration after the arbitration tribunal's decision?
You have to be based on the facts and we still feel that we have been treated unfairly.
There are
huge antitrust violations
.
The quick decision meets with total incomprehension.
We wanted the case to be
judged by the courts
and by experts.
And then we have to go to the
Mövenpick Hotel in
Nuremberg
, where we will be judged.
As managing director, you are responsible. Does the judgment feel like personal defeat?
At the moment I wouldn't even speak of a defeat.
In the “FAZ”, an expert on competition law made it clear that the case does not have to be decided in the last instance.
One thing is clear: I got into the case intensely and gave it my all.
I just want the BFV not always to protect Schweinfurt and oppose us.
The
association has played out its power
with the
arbitration tribunal
.
What are your next steps?
We are currently intensively examining our options.
If we have a chance of success before the Federal Court of Justice, we also prefer the highest instance.
Türkgücü Munich and BFV after legal dispute: "There can be at all"
It seems as if the relationship of trust between BFV and Türkgücü has been permanently broken.
There can be
no relationship of trust
at all
if all the facts have been turned around since day one of the trial and decisions of the ordinary courts are circumvented.
How should we trust the BFV?
The reactions to the process are sometimes violent. Are you not afraid of damage to the club's image?
I can partly understand the reaction of people on the internet if you just get the headlines.
We are now portrayed as having ruined German football.
But it is important that an association dares to go to court on such a big issue.
Türkgücü Munich wants to face TSV 1860 Munich in the future
Reiner Maurer is currently suing for his promotion bonus. Robert Hettich also had to wait for his bonus.
We had
agreed a premium
with
Hettich
and
we
paid it.
With a delay, because at the time it was still unclear whether we would even climb and how it would continue.
I was not present
during the talks with
Maurer
.
But I can say that we will
meet
him in consultation with
Hasan Kivran
.
The offer we made to him is not that far removed from his demands.
Back to the sporty. 1860 is currently playing strongly and is first in the table. Do you see Türkgücü ahead of the lions in the medium term?
The medium term is the key word here that is often forgotten.
I see the developments in
1860
and am in good contact with those responsible.
Nevertheless, it is our clear goal to stand in front of the lions in the future and be number two in the city
.
