On Friday the Erdinger were already free of play, so before the lockdown they definitely wanted to pull through the Sunday home game against the bottom group, who are already three games behind.
The stadium booklet had been printed, the volunteers including folders were ready, everything was prepared for an internet livestream from the Video Taxi company.
This was also communicated on Friday by those responsible for Erdinger to the colleagues from Peißenberg, who promised a call back, but it never came.
Instead, TSV Peißenberg canceled the game at the Bavarian Ice Sports Association, which was then communicated to TSV Erding by the BEV.
Now we have to wait and see whether the game will be resumed in December or can be resumed.
People in Erding are rather skeptical.
The Dorfener Eispiraten can also save themselves the trip to Königsbrunn.
The ESC canceled the game scheduled for Sunday as well as yesterday's home game against ERC Amberg.
"After renewed and intensive discussions, those responsible decided to do so with the agreement of the team and the coach," reported the ESC on its homepage on Friday.
The reason for this is the daily increase in the number of infections.
“We don't want to endanger the safety of players, fans and employees before the lockdown.
For the ESC Dorfen, the focus is on the health of everyone involved. "
U20 derby against Erding
It was still open yesterday whether the Dorfen U20 juniors would play.
The derby against TSV Erding, which is fifth after seven games with 15 points, is set to take place in the Dr.-Rudolf-Halle on Saturday at 8 p.m.
Dorfen is seventh with one game less (13 points).
However, after the first Bayern league team stopped playing on Friday and Sunday, coach Jan Smolko can access reinforcements.
