Kobi Refuah has already seen how his team from Kiryat Shmona is on its way to a first loss this season, but football is played 90 minutes and sometimes more, and his team tonight (Saturday) squeezed a dramatic draw from Hapoel Hadera just in extra time.
The Blues were much better than Hadera, but a goal by Maxim Falkochenko, in an explosive attack and in stark contrast to the game, combined with great saves by visiting goalkeeper Ruby Lewkowicz, should have been enough for Sharon Mimar's players.
But the host did not give up until the last second, repeatedly attacking Lewkowicz's hair, until finally justice was done and the excellent goalkeeper also surrendered. Dor Elo raised an excellent ball to the field that found substitute Guy Ben Lulu, who kicked from the air into the net and arranged for his team the point it was worth.
