Liverpool with the worst defense in the league, Klopp: "Jota is better than I thought"
The lead last night conceded the 15th goal in 7 rounds (just as Chelsea conceded a full season in 2005), but equaled an old-fashioned record with an unbeaten 63rd league game at Anfield without a loss and also won a third consecutive home game after a lag

Watch Liverpool's 1: 2 over West Ham (Sport 1)
Liverpool climbed to the top last night (Saturday) after a hard 1: 2 over West Ham, but once again realized how hard this season is going to be unlike last season.
Diego Jote, the acquisition who came from Wolves at the start of the season, scored the winning goal in the 85th minute and recorded a third game in which he scored.
But the team's big problem this season is the defense, which faltered even before the injury of Virgil Van Dyke.

Liverpool conceded their 15th goal of the season yesterday.
Just for comparison, Chelsea who won the championship in 2005 conceded 16 goals in an entire season (!).
The only team to concede more goals in the seven opening rounds was Aston Villa who conceded 17 goals in the 97/8 season.
"He's a lot better than I thought he would be and it's really impressive," Jürgen Klopp praised Juta at the end of the game. "He's an extraordinary talent. He has speed, physicality, technique and he kicks with both feet."
Klopp praised the determination of his players and said: "We have a game load and seeing the determination of my players and the ability to make a turnaround really makes me happy. We have patience and have not stopped moving the ball and believing."
By the way, with this win, Liverpool equaled a club record with 63 consecutive league games at Anfield without a win.
The last and only one to do so was Bob Paisley between 1978 and 1981.
Liverpool are also the second team ever to absorb first in three consecutive home games, but still win them all.
The last to do so was the great Blackburn of 2009.
