Synopsis: PSV Eindhoven - Dan Brother 0: 4 (Sport 1)
Although PSV Eindhoven defeated Dan the brother 0: 4 last night (Sunday), thanks in part to a goal and a shot by Eran Zehavi, the day's call at the club is the ongoing conflict with the Dutch association over the spread of the corona.
As of yesterday, no less than nine players of the team were found positive for the virus and therefore asked the club in two different cases to postpone the game, which was set between two games in the Europa League.
The association refused and then refused again on the day of the game, to the displeasure of the Eindhoven luxury team.
"The fact that it took them so long to respond says a lot about the procedures. They are not clear at all," angered professional manager Ton Harbrandes, who saw his team register only 12 senior players to tackle.
"It seems to me that this is a political decision, otherwise I have a hard time understanding it."
Coach Roger Schmidt also spared no words.
“A lot of our players and teammates were found positive,” he said.
"When will it stop? When everyone has a Corona? It gets complicated when you play with only 50 percent of your team, especially in Europe. We want to get a stage in Europe, but we would like to have the game postponed. I do not understand why wait so long with the answer when already. Obviously they would force us to play.
"They are ignorant who do not understand how to prepare for games, they are people who sit at home and make decisions only based on a book of rules, and these rules are wrong.
I do not understand it, PSV is a big club.
We approached them on Saturday, after more positive results.
Why wait 17 hours to get an answer?
They do not care about our situation or the health of our players and staff.
Now we will do more tests and maybe we will have more positive players.
The association is aware of this, it claims that we have enough healthy players left.
We play every three days, I don't think they understand anything about football there at all. "
On the game itself, Schmidt said:" We were good and we could have beaten him before the half.
There is character in this group, and that is what allows us to survive even difficult situations. "

At the end of the game, Eran Zehavi dedicated the victory to the club's media officer, who announced last week that he had cancer: "We wanted to show our support for him. We talked about it before the game, and of course there were signs on the pitch. We wish him and his family only health and support him in every way It's possible. "
