Real Madrid hopes that the much-invested investment in the Czar will finally start to pay off.
The Belgian winger scored his first goal in Madrid on Saturday after a 392-day drought in a 1-4 win over Waska, and now the team are hoping that this is the beginning of a change after a period saturated with injuries and disappointments.
Marca reports that the change began first and foremost with the Tsar himself.
The Belgian has come under fire for his work ethic and poor fitness, but has recently hired a personal fitness trainer to return to his peak, and the results are visible on the ground.
"He surprised everyone, even Zinedine Zidane," Marca wrote.
"He is still far from the level he displayed at Chelsea, the one that made him one of the best players in the world, but he is slowly getting back there. He too is disappointed with how he opened his tenure at Real Madrid, so he reacted."

According to the report, in recent weeks "the Tsar is in a completely different approach", and a senior official at Real said: "He is much more involved in the locker room, much more fit, and that affects the abilities of on the pitch."
"Zidane never stopped believing in Hazar. He wanted to add him to Real Madrid for years, and would not give up on him until he received from him the abilities he cherished and appreciated in him," they wrote.
"The Czar is aware of his numbers in real, and understands that they are not good enough. But he wants to leave the past behind and open a new page, which will be much more impressive."
